You are a good lad indeed. I've just looked up some of those jokes. After pages and pages ( yes, I am a sick puppy for persisting ) I couldn't find a single one that I could quote here ! :-))
Cheers, Mike.
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

You could have chosen the one about 'why do blondes always pile their hair up real high on top of their heads? So jokes don't keep going over their heads!'
My wife is blonde also and has heard them all too.
And here I am :) Yes, my other half is distinctly last leggish :( I think that's why they're keeping him in the critical care unit - so that they can point out everything wrong with him as bluntly as possible. But he's doing a bit better the last day or so. YAY! :) Although as soon as I knew that, I couldn't stay awake very well at all :/ weird. Discovered that my mum must have taken that opportunity to fall over herself again and collect some new bruises. Not that she remembers doing so - which one might say was worrying ... but isn't :) No head injury people - just alzheimers.
Speaking of mum's heh heh heh heh. Very good :))) I'd offer Phil my mother-in-law but I like him too much to do that to him :)
Not getting into the blonde thing though... nooooooooooooooooooo... my daughter is one and if you'd seen her eyes change colour from beautiful blue to slate grey like I have, rendering all they view lower than pond slime on the evolutionary ladder, you wouldn't either :)))

@a few days ago - the problem is that when I received paper bills from BT for my phone service, at first they were addressed to the street cabinet outside, which took several years and a threat of non-payment to fix. I only resorted to that because the thing caught fire and during the month the entire street had no phone service, I started receiving paperwork related to the cost of replacing it. So my address was amended - in so far as it suddenly included the phone booth as well. When my actual residence did finally appear in the address, it was a lowly third in the list, which I saw as a vast improvement and definitely a step in the right direction, so left things alone for awhile. My next tackle did remove the street cabinet, and the one after, which is when I switched to non-paper billing at the same time, allegedly removed the phone booth... except it's still in the system :/ somewhere...
and@Mikey - our problem is not teens, but little ones around 8 or 9, and from what I can tell, the CCTV cameras only seem to be monitored for picking up parking infringements - probably because there's money to be made from them.
I must say it's heartening to see all the interest in the clues :) So heartening in fact, that I'm in the process of preparing a clue expansion post for you all... :) Should have it ready to post some time later today...
@MAGIC - did you opt for the train in the end? :)
Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

Hehe, I think she knows that by now :-)
I believe that her other half is not too well at the moment so that has probably delayed her. She'll pop in when she can.
Waiting for Godot & salvation :-)
