Weekend network problem

As many of you no doubt noticed, the Einstein At Home Web site was not working this weekend. This was due to a network problem between research institutions which use Internet2, basically an ISP for universities and research institutions. The problem was affecting the connections between North America and Europe, but only for the institutions themselves. 

Because the Einstein At Home project uses computers at both UW-Milwaukee and Albert Einstein Institute, at University of Hanover, and the connection between them had problems, our project Web site was down. I have been told that other parts of the project should not have been affected by this network outage. Sorry for the inconvenience.
