Many, many moons ago (about 28), in message http://einsteinathome.org/node/189383&nowrap=true#17945, I wrote
"In addition to the version numbers, it would be nice if the "test version" page, http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/app_test.php, also showed the version date."
I was informed at the time that there had only been one update which was very true.
However, now that there have been lots of betas, I am raising my question again.
Tony.

I was more thinking having the date that each beta was updated displayed.
Something along the lines of
"The key features of this beta test App (4.15) (updated 25-Nov-2007) include: ..."

Bernd,
The recently added "published YYYY-MM-DD" to each of the new beta versions solves my request very effectively.
Thank you.

There are two BETA versions

There are two BETA versions dating from 2019 and 2015 that appear to be stable enough to be moved to Production. Who is tasked with this type of review and action ?
1.34 (opencl-intel_gpu-Beta) (beta test) 2015 date
1.22 (FGRPopencl1K-nvidia) (beta test) 2019 date
Thanks

Both those beta applications are superceded by later general availability applications.
They just have not removed those applications with the older code.

Ok I guess was confused ... when I look at the App page VS the Tasks running on computer 12796875 what I see via BOINC on the PC made me think that I was running a BETA app. I will have access to that system tomorrow and will know more.
Thanks

Ok the following system is an HP Desktop and it is getting the BETA tasks that you had thought were inactive. Computer 12843044
So I guess that these BETA tasks have not been replaced.
Thanks

No, it's not. There are no such things as "BETA tasks".
The Arecibo radio pulsar tasks are all the same type of work, the bulk of which was completed many years ago on discrete GPUs when there was lots more data available. These days there is just whatever remains (a very limited amount) and that is supposed to be for mobile devices like phones, tablets and stuff like that. They are also allowed for Intel GPUs.
Because there seemed to be many different versions of Intel hardware and drivers, it was a nightmare to find versions of the app that would work without failing validation. Consequently you see all these different versions, some labeled as beta apps (not tasks) and the scheduler tries to decide which particular variant of the app is most likely to give valid results using your combination of device and driver version. You should stop stressing about the name. If the app works for you, the scheduler has done its job of giving you a suitable version.
There is little interest in the Arecibo radio pulsar search these days. It's just there for people who want to contribute but don't have appropriate hardware for the more important searches. You have good enough hardware for the more important GRP search. If you take a look at your task times for the computer you specified, the GRP tasks take around 11,000secs for 3465 credits whilst the Arecibo tasks take around 2,000 to 3,000 secs for 62 credits. Why wouldn't you want to run the more important GRP tasks exclusively?
I'm reminded of the names of two SpaceX vessels - "Of Course I Still Love You" and "Just read The Instructions". That second one is really appropriate here :-). When you are composing a post, If you look down below the composition window and click on the "BBCODE HELP" dropdown, you will find instructions for creating links - to anything that is clickable in your website account. If you have screen shots, you can even link to any you save on an image hosting service.
Cheers,
Gary.

Gary thank you for the excellent reply while I have been running Einstein for quite awhile and BOINC a lot longer there is always more to learn. And my misuse of Beta Tasks vs BETA Apps is a good example of less than clear communications even though I know better.
I am running three Win 10 systems two with Intel GPU's and one NVIDA and a part time Android
The only App's that I have selected are
