thanks. I read it...and am relieved to know some people have already wondered it. Personally I have compiled SETI@home for Linux box and could make it as fast as (or faster than) the Windows client, so I would like to make E@H faster on Linux box (I don't mind it's open or not. I just want to make it faster on Linux)...currently I run E@H on one of two boxes because the other one is mostly running Linux (and SETI is runnning on it).
