Here I am again hosting TLPTPW. Why it seems like only yesterday..... And how I wish it was!!!!
NOTICE to Gary: I promise to do better this time around.
Rules is Rules (lifted from Mike Hewson and CECHT):
1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules.
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them.
5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread.
6. No double posts. Violator buys a round for the house in The SETI Refugee Pub.
7. Additional rule -- No posts that APPEAR to be blank - these will be ignored or deleted. (Sig lines do not count as part of a post.)
Addendum: Rule 6a. The forum host cannot declare themselves a winner and therefore may post as many times in succession as necessary to cajole, bully, entice, persuade, encourage, shame, browbeat, trick, or inveigle others to participate.

It should be safe to delcare
It should be safe to delcare myself the winner.
Well, today, nothing is safe. Wash your hands, wear your face covering and stay at home.
I have recently discovered
I have recently discovered soy milk and it is a really great dairy milk substitute. In fact I am having a microwaved cup now because I just cannot sleep. I am not saying it will help me sleep but it does provide some distraction. I normally use it on cereal but I believe there are other options too.

Try the brand FairLife milk also, it's regular milk but ultra filtered so even lactose intolerent people can often tolerate it.

The soy I buy comes not from the refrigerated section but "off the shelf". Once opened it needs refrigeration. This soy milk along with other "off the shelf" dairy milks are supper heated to preserve them on the shelf prior to opening.
Happy International Astronomy
Happy International Astronomy Day everyone!
On more mundane matters: yes, FairLife milk is good stuff. It also has quite a bit more protein than regular milk.
Ideas are not fixed, nor should they be; we live in model-dependent reality.

Ok ladies. Wake up!!!! there
EDIT
following rule 6a allow me
following rule 6a allow me double post and to say: the silence is deafening. Was it something I said or failed to say? I know we can do better.

Hmm. Again under 6a I am allowed to "cajole, bully" the members of this thread. So I did. Get over it sunshine(s)!!!! :>) <---more cajoling/bullying.
