I have some queries regarding recent wordlink submissions that just don't seem to make sense.
Debut = premiere = protein?
Tigers = bears = oh?
Car = Pullman = budd?
Other projects have a method of challenging iffy submissions, shouldn't we have?

I don't get the protein
)
I don't get the protein connection, but the other two make sense to me.
There is a widely repeated traditional phrase that reads:
"Lions, and tigers, and bears, Oh my!" from the Wizard of Oz
Long before the automobile, railway rolling stock were called "cars". Pullman was a predominant sleeper car. Somewhat later, Budd was a predominant manufacturer of streamlined passenger rail cars.
OK, many thanks for that
)
OK, many thanks for that info. I think many others may have been pondering upon them as well :-))

A pong is a strong, unpleasant smell.
Still curious about the protien connection...
It was mentioned in the post
)
It was mentioned in the post that Premiere is a brand of protein snacks.
I've never heard that usage of pong.

I'm glad you found a connection, although the one I had in mind was "the Earth Cargo Ship Horizon, a J-class freighter which runs no faster than Warp 1.8. - See more at: http://www.startrek.com/database_article/mayweather-travis#sthash.2gYoOM0I.dpuf"
Okay, thaaaaaat's interesting. All I highlighted on the page was up to "1.8." The page itself must have added the "See more..." when I hit copy. However, it's a useful link that I would've added myself if I'd not been getting sleepy.
[edit]
While it is strongly implied in the ENT episode Horizon that that ECS Horizon is the Horizon that left Chicago Mobs of the 20s on Sigma Iotia 2, thus bringing about the events of TOS: A Piece of the action, the database at startrek.com insists that the Horizon mentioned in APotA was the USS Horizon. A minor quibble, I say. I also note that there was a novel published sometime since ENT ended that depicted the destruction of the ECS Horizon, just as APotA said would happen shortly after it left the above named planet.
